To help our cleaners provide the best possible service when they arrive, there are a few steps you can take beforehand to prepare your home.

1. Ensure Your Pets Are Safe
We strongly advise securing your pets in a safe area before our cleaners come to your home. This helps protect both your furry friends and our team. Additionally, please check for any excessive pet hair and try to minimize it as much as you can. If we notice a significant amount of pet hair during our initial walkthrough, a fee starting at $50.00 may be added to your bill, which could increase based on the extent of the issue.

2. Fresh Linens for Your Beds
If you’ve requested that we change the linens on your beds, please leave the fresh linens on each bed for us to use.

3. Clear Away Clutter
Before our arrival, please ensure that all clutter and loose items are either disposed of or stored away. This includes things like magazines, children’s toys, mail, and electronic devices. Keep in mind that if your home is in a condition that exceeds the services you’ve booked, we may need to reassess the necessary services to achieve a clean space, which could result in additional charges. We will always contact you for approval if a reassessment is needed and will never alter your service or final charges without your agreement.

4. A Quick Overview of Bathroom Vanities
Please organize everyday bathroom essentials like toothpaste, hairspray, makeup, and similar items into a bin or store them away. This way, our cleaners won’t need to move them around while tidying up.

5. A Fast Dish Cleanup
Our cleaning service includes a quick 5-minute dishwashing session, which covers handwashing a small number of dishes or loading the dishwasher. If you have a large pile of dirty dishes and haven’t opted for the “Extended Dishes (Handwash)” add-on, we kindly ask that you reduce the number of dirty dishes. This will help our cleaner focus on your kitchen more efficiently. Please note that an excessive number of dishes is not included in our packages, and we may need to contact you to discuss the services booked.

6. Keep in mind that if these tasks aren’t completed before our cleaners arrive, there may be an additional charge due to the extra time required to finish them. Other than these tasks, there’s nothing else you need to do. We’re here to handle everything else!

What to Anticipate Before MintFresh Maids Visits Your Home

1. Prior to our cleaners arriving, we invite you to reach out with any questions or specific requests you may have. This helps us set clear expectations and provide you with an accurate service quote. Please note that last-minute requests might not be possible to accommodate.

2. If you didn’t mention access arrangements when booking, we will get in touch to discuss how our team can enter your home. If you won’t be there, you can either provide a key or an access code. If that makes you uneasy, please ensure someone is available at your home during the scheduled time to let us in.

3. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance. Since we reserve a cleaning team and time for each client, any cancellations made after this period will incur a fee.

What to Anticipate During Your Cleaning Service

1. You can trust the individuals we send to your home, as all our professional cleaners have passed thorough background checks. They are also well-trained and insured, ensuring protection for both you and them.

2. When our cleaning team arrives, they will come equipped with all the necessary tools and supplies. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance.

3. If you’re at home during the cleaning, our team will start with a brief walk-through to identify any specific areas of concern before they begin. You don’t have to leave; they will work around you, but it might be helpful if you can move from room to room to give them the space they need.

4. Should the initial walk-through reveal any of the following issues: significant hard water or lime scale buildup, heavy grime on walls, blinds, window sills, baseboards, or vents, excessive pet hair or waste on furniture and floors, clutter or trash, insects (dead or alive), or stubborn stains on tiles, toilets, bathtubs, flooring, countertops, doors, and walls, we will contact you right away to discuss our findings. We will reassess the invoice and talk about additional services needed to address these concerns, which may lead to an increase in the service fee based on the extent of the work required.

5. If mold is discovered in your home, we will inform you immediately, and that area will not be cleaned due to safety concerns.

6. Please be aware that our cleaners cannot move large appliances or furniture, nor can they reach areas higher than 6 feet for liability reasons.

7. We reserve the right to decline any job if the condition of the space significantly exceeds what was booked, making it unmanageable for our team. This includes situations like hoarding or homes with extreme clutter.

What to Expect After MintFresh Maids Cleans Your Home

– Once our cleaning team has finished, they will conduct a required inspection with you. We recommend using our cleaning checklist during this walk-through to point out any areas that may have been overlooked. If you find anything unsatisfactory and notify us during this inspection, we will gladly arrange a complimentary re-clean on the same day. If you are unable to be present for the inspection or choose not to do it, our 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE will still apply.

– It’s also a good idea to check your home for any items that may be lost or damaged and let us know right away so we can help resolve the issue. We will do our best to repair or replace any items that are lost or damaged, within reasonable limits.

– After your cleaning, you will receive an email inviting you to share your thoughts on the service and rate your cleaner. We truly value your honest feedback, as it helps us ensure that we are delivering top-notch service to you and all our customers.
